Building a model railway layout takes space, time, money, skills, knowledge and patience. To get the desired result for a good-looking layout that works reliably and provides ongoing entertainment it can seem that you need to be a carpenter, electrician and designer! We think this is a real 'road block' that discourages growth in the hobby, and denies so much enjoyment for individuals and families.

The supplied layout includes installed track, track power supply, electric points, and basic scenery such as elevated scenic sections, tunnels with portals, and station platforms. This enables you to run trains from Day One, enabling fun and satisfaction while you progressively add to the layout to create your own world.
