Here is some more information about Jack Clifton's layout which was featured as 'Railway of The Month' in September 1976. He named his sprawling layout 'Pacific Seaboard Lines' which took up to 6 operators to run at full capacity.
It was not until 1983 that Continental Modeller was created by the same publisher (Peco) so it was quite an achievement by Jack to have his non-British Australian based layout showcased in this respected UK magazine which inspired peopleĀ internationally.
